ARAD MEETING

The fifth project meeting in Arad (Romania) was the possibility for both students and teachers to learn about the culture, history and economy of this country, but also show the leaflets and presentations about the procedures of setting up companies in each country. Students could also listen to comments of the representative of local chamber of commerce. We had a chance to see how the rail carriages are made in the Astra Vagon company. We visited Sibiu which was the Cultural Capital of Europe in 2007, Bran- Brasov and Timisoara and learned a lot about the history of Transylvanian region.

June task was about marketing. We analysed ways of marketing in our countries on these products: mobile phones, iPODs, shampoo, package tours to London and insurance companies. It was interesting to compare marketing in our countries and look for similarities.
